In a world of books deemed “girl” (which is ultimately to say ‘not timeless’ which is to say right now matters less than the past did because we have too much access to each other) it’s nice to read this lesser known 2016 one hit wonder which questions how much access we have to objective reality. Gossip and sex are two of the quickest paths to the deepest human truths, after all.
